Make Homemade Pasta

Making homemade pasta was a blast. Actually wasn't complicated at all and tasted decent. Minus one ingredient.. Kyle.. you know what we are referring to here... ;)

Tiffany went and bought a Pasta Roller- She had been wanting one for awhile. and we decided to make ravioli so we didn't have to wait for it to dry at all. Just boil  and eat.  Kyle found the recipe for the filling and the dough, and we all donated ingredients.

While Tiffany and Kyle worked diligently on perfecting the recipe, TJ and Scott supervised. Granted they may have been worn out from babysitting Tiffanys girls while she and I took our yoga class! Still.. had to capture the essence of the moment!

Soo.. knead the dough...

roll the dough..

strike a pose...

ok roll more dough.. haha crap we didn't realize how much we made!

add filling... (laying the dough over a mini muffin tin pan was Tiffanys idea, brilliant.. as usual!)
Notice the tomato on top some fillings. That was my brilliant idea.... not so brilliant. haha it got boycotted 8 ravioli in. Good thing too, kind of nasty.. I'll admit it!

Add the egg to seal the dough and add the top layer

Cook and Serve!

Taylor, Ginger, Tiffany, Talisha, TJ,  Kyle, Scott,

I think the whole group can agree that the orange zest could have been left out (although I think if we added a orange sugar syrup it could have been a great desert ravioli! Even so, we ate it and liked it, the dough tasted great and we didn't overstuff them! We were worried about possible exploding ravioli.
We especially like the bread with oil and vinegar appetizer Kyle brought. fav. I think the phrase "I could eat this for the rest of my life and be fine" was repeated numerous times through out the night.

Warning.. before watching video, please note TJ rolling the dough may be inappropriate for children, We all had nightmares..

(We had so much fun eating.. I never checked back in!! haha oops!)

Success! and Check!
